NW Emergency Management leader, Rick Larson, is a South Dakota State Certified Emergency Manager, a veteran with more than 35 years of experience in training, response and incident command. A responder with background and real world experience in aviation mishaps, natural disasters, weapons of mass destruction and rapid interoperable communications systems. He is an Incident Commander, Task Force Leader, HazMat Technician level responder, EOC Director, SAR aircrew leader, and ICS trainer.

Our facilities are based in Sioux Falls, SD…the middle of the nation! Ready to come to your location for exercises, training events and response assistance. Training can also be held here in Sioux Falls, utilizing state of the art facilities in one of the USA’s top rated communities

We are staffed by response professionals with core competencies in Emergency Management, Hazardous Materials, EMS, incident command, search and rescue and communications.

Recent experiences include exercise design for state and local jurisdictions, enterprise level command and control solutions, mass warning and notification system development and fielding. Planning documentation to meet local, state and federal requirements.
